About Madison KaylynneKnown for my eclectic style sense and brightly colored bob, I consider myself fluent in both modern and vintage fashions. It’s always the late 60s inside my head. I work in various mediums, including, but not limited to: Personal / Editorial Styling, Fashion Design, Illustration / Multimedia, Writing, and Blogging. My work in all areas explores themes such as escapism, feminism, and the modern human condition. I am constantly on a journey to express my passion and enthusiasm through the creative channel known as aesthetic.
This spring, I’ll be completing my Bachelor’s of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Despite this, I consider my fashion education to be ongoing. With four years of experience in garment construction / fashion design / illustration, and six years in entrepreneurial styling (personal, editorial, etc), I feel as if I have only begun my experiential journey within the industry. My latest endeavors have also led me to the realms of runway production, accessory design, and multimedia art. Being mostly inspired by publications, stylists, designers, fashion writing, and the world of street style, I see myself working in these fields throughout my career. I’ve been writing and blogging for around six years on multiple platforms in collaborative environments as well as on my own – finally coming here to set up home base. I’ve recently returned from working abroad for Verge Magazine UK in London, England, where I served as the Fashion Editorial Assistant. I have styled collaboratively and independently for magazines, blogs, look books, and my own design work.
